Executive Committee
Overview
The Executive Committee consists of five Voting Members (the Chair, Vice Chair for Trials, Vice Chair for Sanctions, Vice Chair for First Years, and Vice Chair for Graduate Students), as well as seven non-voting members: two Senior Counselors, the Senior Investigator, the Senior Educator, the Senior Data Manager, the FYJC Chair, and the FYJC Vice Chair. The Executive Committee oversees all operations of the UJC and reviews all complaints as they are submitted.

Harper Jones
UJC Chair
Harper is a fourth-year from Greenwich, CT double majoring in Political and Social Thought and History. Outside of the UJC, she is involved with Fourth Year Trustees, campaign organizing, the Program on Constitutionalist and Democracy, and writes for the Seriatim Journal of American Politics.
Melinda Wong
Vice Chair for Trials
Melinda is a fourth-year from Gainesville, Virginia studying Public Policy & Leadership. Outside of UJC, she is involved in the University Guide Service, Moot Court, and Zeta Tau Alpha.
Allison McVey
Vice Chair for Sanctions
Ally is a third-year from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, studying Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law. Outside of the UJC, she is on the UVA Moot Court team and writes for the Virginia Undergraduate Law Review.
Anna Prillaman
Vice Chair for First Years
Anna is a fourth-year from Houston, TX. She is double majoring in Spanish and Cognitive Science with a concentration in neuroscience. Outside of the UJC, she serves as the Co-Vice President for the Yellow Door Foundation at UVA, works as the Outreach Co-Chair for Pancakes for Parkinson’s, and volunteers as a notetaker for UVA’s Student Disability Access Center.
Jeronimo Lau Alberdi
Vice Chair for Graduate Students
Jeronimo is a Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) Candidate and President of the Legal Research Forum at UVA Law School. He is also a Professor of Constitutional Law in Argentina, and has real-world litigation experience in law firms. He holds a J.D. and LL.M. from Universidad Austral (Argentina) and an LL.M. from Georgetown Law.
Nayana Celine Xavier
Senior Counselor
Nayana is a third year from Chantilly, Virginia majoring in Commerce. Outside of UJC, she is a Program Director for CASH through Madison House, a member of moot court, and an RA for first year residents.
Madeline Barber
Senior Counselor
Madeline Barber is a fourth year from Fishersville, VA studying Political and Social Thought and Psychology. Outside of the UJC, she is the Operations Manager for the Seriatim Journal of American Politics and a Teaching Assistant for Sherri Moore.
Colin Berry
Senior Investigator
Colin is a third year studying Biomedical Engineering on the premedical track. Outside of UJC, he is also in PhiDE and is a Lieutenant at Lake Monticello Volunteer Rescue Squad, where he also runs as an EMT.
Christina Propheter
Senior Educator
Christina is a fourth year from Bristow, Virginia studying Government and Data Analytics. Outside the UJC, Christina interns with the Undergraduate Admissions Office and leads as a Co-Chair. Additionally, she works with the UVA Children's Hospital to fundraise and create care packages for patients and nurses through SOCKS.
Calvin Pan
Senior Data Manager
Calvin is a second-year from McLean, VA, majoring in Foreign Affairs with minors in French and Data Science. Outside of UJC, Calvin is Treasurer for the International Relations Organization at UVA, travels on the Model UN team, and is in a rock band and a jazz band as a pianist.
Griffin Franzese
FYJC Chair
Griffin is a first-year student from St. Petersburg, Florida pursuing a major in Systems Engineering. Outside of UJC, he is an editor on the Virginia Undergraduate Law Review and a backpacking guide.
Saxon Kelleher
FYJC Vice Chair
Saxon is a first year from Richmond, VA, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and Russian. Outside of UJC, she works as a math tutor for students grades K-12 and is a member of ESSA.
