Executive Committee
Overview
The Executive Committee consists of five Voting Members (the Chair, Vice Chair for Trials, Vice Chair for Sanctions, Vice Chair for First Years, and Vice Chair for Graduate Students), as well as seven non-voting members: two Senior Counselors, the Senior Investigator, the Senior Educator, the Senior Data Manager, the FYJC Chair, and the FYJC Vice Chair. The Executive Committee oversees all operations of the UJC and reviews all complaints as they are submitted.

Lisa Kopelnik
UJC Chair
Lisa Kopelnik is a second-year from Oakland, CA studying Politics Honors and Economics. Outside of the UJC, she is involved with the University Hillel and Chabad, and currently serves as the Debate and Oratory Chair of the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society.

Ineke La Fleur
Vice Chair for Trials
Ineke is a second year from Charlottesville, VA. She is double majoring in Political and Social Thought and History. Outside of the UJC, Ineke works with the Albemarle-Charlottesville Historical Society and is involved with She Writes History, a CIO which seeks to share and encourage the achievements of women.
Anna Prillaman
Vice Chair for Sanctions
Anna is a second year from Houston, TX. She is double majoring in Spanish and Cognitive Science with a concentration in neuroscience. Outside of the UJC, she serves as the Co-Vice President for the Yellow Door Foundation at UVA, works as a Committee member for Pancakes for Parkinson’s, and volunteers as a notetaker for UVA’s Student Disability Access Center.
Melinda Wong
Vice Chair for First Years
Melinda is a second year from Gainesville, Virginia intending on double majoring in Public Policy & Leadership and Applied Statistics. Outside of UJC, she is a member of Moot Court, serves as the Analytics Manager for the Cavalier Daily, and works as a research intern at ORB International.
Viranga Wimalasiri
Vice Chair for Graduate Students
Viranga is a 5th Year International Graduate Student from Sri Lanka. He is a Ph.D candidate at the Department of Chemistry studying Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics. Outside of the UJC, he is the President of the Sri Lankan Student Association at UVA whose primary objective is to provide opportunities for UVA and Charlottesville Community to experience Sri Lankan Culture, Heritage and Cuisine.
Harper Jones
Senior Counselor
Harper is a second year from Greenwich, CT. She is double majoring in Political and Social Thought and History. Outside of the UJC, she serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Seriatim Journal of American Politics, is part of the Cavalier Daily, and is involved in local campaign organizing.
Daria London
Senior Counselor
Daria London is a third year from Bethesda, MD. She is double majoring in Middle Eastern Studies and African and African American Studies. Outside of the UJC, she serves as the President of Persian Conversation Club, Vice President of Judiciary for the Inter-Sorority Council, Publicity Chair of Persian Cultural society and is a member of Club Tennis and Phi Alpha Delta professional fraternity.
Campbell Coleman
Senior Investigator
Campbell is a second year from Nashville, Tennessee, studying Physics and Neuroscience on the premedical track. Outside of the UJC, he is the Vice President of Membership for Challah for Hunger, a Teaching Assistant within the Physics Department, and is involved in autism research at the School of Medicine.
Jordan Rodgers
Senior Educator
Jordan is a second year from outside of Atlanta, GA double majoring in Global Security and Justice and American Studies. Outside of the UJC, she is an active member of Student Council, The Cavalier Daily Newspaper, and the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity.
Arianna Schwartz
Senior Data Manager
Arianna is a second year in the College from San Francisco, California. She is studying chemistry and computer science. Outside of the UJC, she writes for the Virginia Journal of Bioethics and is part of the Bioethics society.
Katharine Pan
FYJC Chair
Katharine is a first-year from Bethesda, MD. She intends to study Economics and Computer Science. Outside of the UJC, she's the Alumni Engagement Coordinator for the Virginia Sailing Association and an interviewer for Humans of UVA, and she's involved with Amnesty International at UVA.
Joseph Chambers
FYJC Vice Chair
Joseph is a first-year from Henrico, Virginia. He plans to major in economics and philosophy. Outside of the UJC, he competes on the quiz bowl team and is a staff editor for the Seriatim Journal of American Politics.
